Every evening for the past three years, Metaverse HQ has delivered a curated daily recap to multiple communities — a briefing read by over 500,000 people.

Until recently, producing it meant hours of gathering links, summarizing updates, and formatting everything for their readers.

Two months ago, we built them a Daily Recap Bot to handle the heavy lifting while keeping the editorial team in full control.

How The System Works

Throughout the day, MVHQ’s content staff drops URLs from articles and X posts into a dedicated Telegram channel.

The bot immediately:

• Adds each URL to a structured database
• Scrapes the linked content
• Generates a short summary
• Tracks sentiment
• Pulls key bullet points
• Runs entity recognition to surface important names, projects, and terms

By evening, the database contains all of the day’s curated links and summaries.

When the team is ready, they type !recap in Telegram. The bot then:

• Preserves the brand voice MVHQ is known for
• Sends it back in seconds, ready for last‑minute tweaks or direct publishing

• Airtable as the content database and learning system
• Apify and Firecrawl for reliable content scraping from articles and X posts
• OpenAI GPT-4 and Google Gemini for brand-voice-consistent summaries and recap formatting
• Prompt Engineering to ensure tone matches MVHQ’s established editorial style
• CoinGecko API for accurate market data
